8th Element Hyperbaric Medicine in the San Francisco area is the first HBOT center built specifically to serve the transgender community. We are located in a modern medical professional arts building, with plentiful free parking on-site and easy access from the freeways.
Our Custom Multiplace Hyperbaric Chamber
You will first enter our control center and take off your shoes. The chamber is equipped with chairs on each side, with a blanket and pillow for your comfort. Once settled, your clear hood will be positioned, and we will go over how to release any pressure in your ears. One of our technicians will remain inside the chamber with you, and you will share the space with other people in the trans community, an ideal environment for healing and support.
Additional technicians and nurse practitioners remain outside the chamber, closely monitoring each patient throughout their treatment. Once you are settled, you are free to relax, watch a movie, read, chat with other patients in your treatment session, or rest to pass the time. We are always there to provide the support you need.
